Some of the features we found are:
- It has been mounted mini-SD slot for storage
- It has a volume adjustment button
- Having a player control buttons (pause, play, next, prev)
- Available for dock connector iPod
- Supports multiple audio files including MP3, WAV, MWA, MIDI, OGG, FLAC
- Can perform the sound recording (output formats: OGG)
To make the Arduino that we have can play audio files, then simply add the shield MP3 player. As of procedures are as follows:
1. Make sure there is music in the mini-SD file to be used
2. Download music_v1_13 and also library NewSoftSerial
3. Extract the file, and save it in the folder .... \ Arduino0022 \ libraries \
4. Open the Arduino IDE, and make sure the board being used (Tools>> Board)
5. Open the example sketch that is on File>> Examples>> Mucic_V1_13>> Music
6. Upload sketch to the Arduino
